Did you know the Ivory Coasts most successfull player today is Didier Drogba, and he plays for Chelsea. He is 32 years old. He has had no yellow cards yet, neither red. And he's scored 1 goal.
Also, the National Symbol of the Ivory Coast is a tree called the Baobab tree. It is a very famous tree and it is found in Africa and not found in many other places, it grows there because of the temperature and have lovely light red and white flowers.In Angola and Namibia the Baobab tree grows in the woodlands. This famous tree was recently found in India.The fruit which grows on the Baobab tree has twice as much calcium as milk and 6 times the vitamin of an orange. The leaves can be eaten as relish while the fruit can be dissolved in milk or water and then can be used as a drink.Also the seed can be use as edible oil.
Sadly when Ivory Coast played against Brazil they lost 3-1 to Brazil. But then Ivory Coast's luck changed completely when they played their final match against Korea DPR with an amazing score of 3 - 0 !!! Well Done Ivory Coast!
